Gynn Wall 27th May 2018

The fourth match of the year was fished this morning on the Gynn Wall Blackpool.

Sunshine and a South Easterly breeze and flat calm seas greeted us on arrival.

Fishing was poor with only 5 of the 12 anglers managing to catch fish that qualified for the match.

The top individual was Tom Tate (H&A C) with a plaice and gurnard for 33 points.

Stannah 13th May 2018

The third match of the season was fished today at Stannah from 8:30 to 11:30 with high water at 10:30.

For a change we were greeted with sunshine and warm conditions.

Fishing was patchy but all anglers competing in the match landed fish. Best bait was peeler crab tipped with fish bait (either bluey or mackerel).

The top individual was Tom Tate (H&A C) who managed 6 Flounders (200cm) for 114 points.
