The last match of the season fished today at Cleveleys 9:00 to 12:00 with high water at 11:04.

On arrived conditions looked OK and looked like it would fish well.

Fish started to be caught from the off but they were mainly small codling and did not reach the 35cm size limit used by the league.

Although all of the 14 anglers caught only two managed to land fish in size.

Sunday 10th January 2016

The first of two re-arranged matches fished at Dronsfield Road today, the match should have been fished at Cleveleys but due to string winds had to be moved.

Match was fished from 9:15 to 12:15 and on arrival we were greeted by heavy South West shore along swell and rain showers.

Fishing started OK with some small codling being caught but heavy weed then appeared and made fishing conditions extremely difficult, with the weed remaining almost throughout the match.

Fishing was poor with only undersized codling and whiting being caught by the majority of the anglers and only one person managing to catch a fish that was in-sized.
