Cleveleys 5 Bar Gate - 17th December 2017

the 11th match of the year was fished today at 5 Bar Gate Cleveleys fishing 9:00 to 12:00 (High Water 10:23).

Rain and cold conditions greeted us as we arrived and despite a reasonable looking sea fishing was poor with only 5 of the 10 anglers managing to catch fish that counted in the match.

Top individual was a draw between Bob Scullion (H&A A) with a whiting and a dab and Steve Clark with 2 Whiting and a dab both worth 18 points.

The tenth match of the year was fished today at 5 Bar Gate Cleveleys 8:30 to 11:30 (High Water 10:17)

Overcast skies and a good swell greeted us at the start of the match with the sun coming out later, however despite what looked like good conditions the fishing was poor with only 5 of the 12 anglers managing to catch fish that counted in the match.

Top individual was a draw with Ian Hewitt (LMS A) catching a dab and Bryan Horrocks (H&A C) catching a Whiting that were both worth 7 fish points.
