Lytham - Sunday 23rd April 2017

The second match of the year was held at Lytham on the 23rd April 2017.

The match was fished from 9:00 to 12:00 - High Water was 9:24 AM so the match was fished 2 1/2 hours into the ebb tide.

The top angler in today's match was Steve Clark with 12 flounders (total 388cm) for 208 points, second Tony Gorse with 10 flounders for 154 points and third Peter Fleetwood with 9 flounders for 150 points.

The top bait was definitely peeler crab.

Sunday 9th April 2017 - Gynn Wall

Well first match of the new season was fished this morning 9:00 to 12:00 on the Gynn Wall.

The league started more with a wimper this year will fishing being poor but on the plus side the weather was nice😎

Winner of today's match was Jim Gross with a 47cm Codling, 2nd Steve Clark with a 34cm Plaice and 3rd Tony Gorse with a 29cm Plaice.

However 10 of the 16 anglers failed to catch.
