Sunday 23rd October - 5 Bar Gate Cleveleys

Eighth match of the year was fished at Cleveleys today, the match was fished 9:00 to 12:00 fishing the last 2 1/2 hours of the ebb and the first of the flood.

When the match started the sea was flat clam and a cold easterly breeze blowing from the land.

Overall the fishing was again poor with only 4 of the 14 anglers weighing in.

In total only 5 fish caught and these were 3 Dogfish, a Plaice and a Flounder.

Top individual was Bryan Horrocks who managed to catch a Dogfish and a Plaice both caught on fresh peeler crab.
