Match 3 - Knott End 26th May 2019

Rain and wind and muddy conditions greeted us this morning as the latest match was fished at Knott End 9:00 to 12:00 with low water at 11:15.

Fishing was patchy but several good bags were produced with bass, eel, flounders and plaice all making an appearance. 

The bonus points were shared between Reece Medcalf (Bass 42cm) and Ian Hewitt (Plaice 41cm) each worth 36 points.

Match 2 - Lytham 14th April 2019

Second match of the year was fished this morning at Lytham from 9:00 to 12:00 (Low Water 13:42) fishing the ebb.

Bright, breezy and very chilly conditions greeted us this morning.

Fishing was patchy but all anglers caught and several good flounders were caught around the 40cm mark.

Largest fish bonus points went to Bob Scullion for a 41cm flounder. 

Match 1 - Lytham 31st March 2019

The first match of the year was fished this morning at Lytham.

The match was fished from 10:00 - 13:00 starting an hour after high water and fishing the ebb.

Nice sunny day greeted us and conditions looked OK.

Fishing was patchy and most fish were caught early in the match with only odd fish showing later. All fish were the usual suspects for Lytham.

Bonus points are awarded for the largest fish in the match and this was a 40cm Flounder caught on peeler crab.
